This course provides students with information regarding the legal practices of real estate firms. It will discuss important real estate laws and regulations and provided guidance for creating office policies and procedures. It will also review the NAR Code of Ethics. Topics covered will include Broker Supervision, Use of Unlicensed Assistants, Escrow Accounts/Financial Records, Business Policies, Advertising, Agency, Misrepresentation/Omission, Continued Education Requirements and Commissions. Upon completing the course, students will have a better grasp of laws and regulations required to supervise licenses and in turn, will be better able to protect the interests of the public. This course is authorized for 8 hours of CE Credit as follows:
