Description
This course provides students with information regarding the legal practices of real estate firms. It will discuss crucial real estate laws and regulations and provide a guide for creating office policies and procedures. It will also review the NAR Code of Ethics. Topics covered will include Broker Supervision, Use of Unlicensed Assistants, escrow accounts and financial records, Business Policies, Advertising, Agency, misrepresentation and omission, Continued Education Requirements, and Commissions. Upon completing the course, students will have a deeper understanding of the laws and regulations governing the supervision of licenses, and, in turn, will be better equipped to protect the public's interests. This course is authorized for 8 hours of CE Credit as follows:
- Six (6) hours in Broker Management
- Two (2) hours in Broker Supervision
